Pastor Benjamin Thiru (Deep Roots Church - Penang, Malaysia)

Pastor Benjamin was born on 7th March 1979 in Seremban, Malaysia and grew up in Kulim Kedah. At the age of 19 years old he had a supernatural encounter with the Lord which changed his life tremendously. He accepted Jesus as his personal saviour and started to serve in campus ministry faithfully until he graduated from local university. Doors have been opened for him to work in Penang where he continued to serve in Young Working Adult's Ministry. In 2014, in different occasions God spoke to him to step out by faith to pioneer a Church work in a beautiful country side of Balik Pulau Penang, Malaysia. With the clear vision from the Lord he responded to the call of God in pioneering Deep Roots Church. God uses Pastor Benjamin in the area of teaching, evangelism, healing, prophetic, leadership and counselling. He is also used by God in other nations such as Sri Lanka and Nepal. His first mission trip was in Sri Lanka in 2008. in mission field, God used him in prophetic Evangelistic and healing service. Currently, Pastor Benjamin is still working in one of the MSC Company in Penang Island and pastoring Deep Roots Church, ministering to youths and young working adults. He is happily married to his beloved wife Elsey Akop and has a lovely 6 months old daughter Bella Zoe.

Dr. Richard William (History Maker Intl - Singapore)

Dr. Richard William was born and raised in Singapore. At the age of 12, he had a supernatural encounter with Jesus Christ and gave his life to follow Him. At the age of 16, he had a miraculous encounter with Jesus who rescued him from drowning in a river. Later that year, he answered the call of God and started his training in ministry and missions at a local Singaporean Bible college.

In 1988, he worked as a missionary in Hong Kong and the Peoples Republic of China. During that time he also pioneered evangelistic efforts into restricted-access Tibet. God supernaturally led him as he ministered deep into Tibetan towns and even into the Potala Palace, the seed of Tibetan Buddhism. Through several divine interventions, God protected him from the Chinese military as they pursued him throughout the journey.

The Lord opened the doors for biblical studies in the USA. Dr. William is a graduate of Christ for the Nations (Dallas,USA); Tyndale Theological Seminary where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Biblical Studies; Regent University, Virginia Beach, where he received his Masters in Missiology; Harvest Bible University, USA where he received his Doctor of Divinity. He is listed in 1992 "Who is Who” among Students in American Colleges and Universities for outstanding leadership qualities. While at Regent University, he served as the Coordinator of the Unreached People Consultation which brought together leading missions experts from across the globe to formulate strategies to reach unreached people groups.

After completing his graduate studies at Regent University, God send his wife, Debbie, and him to minister in the Muslim nation of Malaysia in South East Asia. In Malaysia, he served as the Dean of Students in a Bible College and Missions Pastor at a local church while Debbie taught at a Muslim college. He ministered in churches in Malaysia as well as remote villages.

In 1998, Dr. William and his wife pioneered History Maker International Church, a youth movement in Singapore. God took that work and impacted thousands of youth all across Asia. Hundreds of youth and young adults turned to Jesus with a burning passion and fire to live for Him in Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Taiwan, Japan and other nations. Through the leadership development and evangelism of this movement, the Holy Spirit set ablaze churches in cities across countries in Asia. Hundreds of young people answered the call to serve Jesus as revival fires fell in meetings across their cities. There were many amazing manifestation of God's presence and power in these meetings. History Maker International is now working in over 16 countries across Asia. From a platform of mobilization, History Maker International has also evolved into a church planting movement and has now started new church plants in Nepal and China.

Dr. William travels and ministers extensively preaching in crusades, leadership conferences and churches in more than 30 nations. In his preaching ministry, his desire is to stir a deep hunger for God's presence and power, motivate towards local evangelism and international missions and to see revival fire touch this generation. During the last 26 years of ministry, God has led him to minister in very unusual locations such as terrorist camps, closed communist and Muslim nations, and totally unreached regions of Asia. But in every situation, he has never failed to see God's awesome glory fall and set lives on fire across these nations.

In 2012, God called Dr. William and his family to relocate to the USA. Their desire is to see the fire and glory of God touch the nations in this region as well as network churches and ministries for global missions. He currently lives in Tampa, Florida with his wife and two daughters, Destiny (19) and Mikayla (12).
